YouMe began during the pandemic as Zumidate.com, a playful way for people to have something to do together on virtual dates. After the pandemic, the need for virtual dates faded, but the need for connection did not.
Jena Ruby, a marketing specialist and singles-event host in Calgary, needed a better way to help attendees mingle and establish connections at her events. She partnered with Eduard Anghelescu from Zumidate, and together they rebranded and built something completely new.
YouMe Hosting is the B2B side: event-based activities for hosts, venues, and organizers. It includes Mini, the smaller event-ready version of Original, and Missions, a live mingling format built around guided attendee interactions.
YouMe Original is the B2C experience for two people on a date. It uses progressive prompts to help players laugh, feel vulnerable, and discover who they are, with co-op mini games to keep the night light.
